The Petersburg Public Library is opening applications for three part-time summer positions ($15/hr). To apply to work with us this summer, through the Youth Employment Grant we received from the Illinois Arts Council, you must meet the following requirements:

Successful candidates are required to be between the ages of 14-22 (no one can start younger or finish older, you must be in these age ranges the entire time of employment).
Successful candidates must have the ability to work 10 hrs/week during 8 of the 9 weeks between June 1 & July 31, 2025.
Successful candidates will be happy and willing to complete job duties that will range from assisting during the library summer reading program, working with young people (ages 0-16), and being willing to accomplish other library duties as assigned (shelving, gardening, cleaning etc.)
Successful candidates will apply using this google form link Application by April 3rd and be available for interviews (in-person or virtual for college students) the week of April 7th.
